Habakkuk’s Vision is a New Jersey 501(c)(3) Not-for-Profit Organization. We provide re-entry and supportive services for the formerly incarcerated, unsheltered and displaced, victim/survivors of sex and human trafficking, victims of domestic violence and other marginalized and disenfranchised populations. We do this by providing a holistic resting place of hope, support and cultivation for a new beginning and healing.
One of our essential goals is to put an end to the branding & stigmatization both self-inflicted and by society of the population we serve. By combating societal issues such as: drug and alcohol abuse, poverty, racial discrimination, economic deprivation, and mental illness we aim to breaking these vicious cycles.
Through our programs, advocacy and supportive services, we strive to inspire our community members to sense a feeling of belonging, worthiness & ability to make a significant contribution to the world. We advocate for victims & survivors of domestic violence, individuals impacted by mental illness and many of our disenfranchised and marginalized members of our community.
To create a world and Equitable Opportunities where "True Freedom" exists for the formerly incarcerated, the homeless, survivors of sex and human trafficking, those suffering from mental illness, substance abuse, trauma, victim/survivors of domestic violence and other vulnerable populations of all race, religion and gender.
OUR VISION
To establish a community of not only vision "writers", but also vision "creators" . One that not just pours into themselves, but into the lives of others. A vision that is achieved by birthing forth future Business Owners, CEO’s, Developers and other Entrepreneurs that will rebuild broken communities and pay it forward
We provide Transitional Housing for the unsheltered, individuals who are fleeing, displaced and formerly incarcerated individuals, who are experiencing barriers to obtaining housing.
Training and Vocational Education courses will be provided for our residents and we will work closely with Local Governmental Agencies
Victims of domestic violence will have a safe and private place to reside that will provide them with services inside of the residence
